UMD Office for Multicultural Involvement & Community Advocacy (MICA) is hosting a welcome (and welcome back!) event for all UMD students (undergraduate and graduate) who identify as Native/Indigenous. There will be free food, games and prizes—and a chance to meet with Native student union folks, Native faculty including newly arrived Shelbi Meissner, and Kyrsha Balderas, the new Coordinator for Native/Indigenous Student Involvement and Community Advocacy at MICA!

This year, the Native & Indigenous Welcome will be hosted in-person in the Adele H. Stamp Student Union’s Pyon Su room (2nd floor Stamp Student Union) from 1 PM to 2 PM on Sunday, August 27th. Please use the RSVP form here to let us know that you’ll be attending!
