(Student Challenge) UMD Info Challenge 2023: Information & Access for All

Location: University of Maryland College Park

This annual week-long challenge provides an opportunity for college students to compete in solving real-world problems in the areas of data analytics, security, and design – using projects provided by partner organizations.

College students from UMD College Park, UMD Baltimore County, Montgomery College, and the US Naval Academy are eligible to participate. Each year, dozens of faculty and staff from these institutions volunteer their time to support this event as mentors and judges. Past partner organizations that have provided challenge projects and/or valuable financial support include Amazon Web Services, the National Cancer Institute, Booz Allen Hamilton, The Library of Congress, and the The U.S. Department of Agriculture.
