The challenge of governing digital technologies calls for better avenues of collaboration between researchers and policymakers. To help bridge this gap, UMD’s Tech Policy Hub hosts its first in-person annual event, bringing together researchers and practitioners across four panels on key issue areas: AI, Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Information Integrity. Each panel is designed to surface research with direct relevance to current policy challenges and to generate ideas for ongoing, mutual engagement between academia and practice.
