August 25-26, 2020 | New Faculty Orientation Registration Details
This two-day program just before Fall Semester is designed to integrate you into campus culture, and provide an overview of the policies, procedures, resources, and services available to you. Orientation will be held online. Learn more about the UMD’s Faculty Orientation.

The program will:

  • Provide an introduction to the campus and community, including resources and services;
  • Describe the expectations and responsibilities of faculty;
  • Outline policies and procedures that guide faculty life;
  • Orient faculty to their roles in teaching, research and service; and
  • Familiarize faculty with mentoring and professional development opportunities.
