John Bass is the Founder & CEO of Hashed Health, an award-winning healthcare innovation studio. Since 2016, John & his team has been at the vanguard of the healthcare blockchain market. As product experiments have matured to commercial networks, Hashed has grown to be the leading technology innovation studio responsible for companies such as Professional Credentials Exchange. John is the co-author of “Blockchain in Healthcare: Innovations that Empower Patients, Connect Professionals and Improve Care,” and is an internationally recognized speaker on value-based care delivery, payment innovation, and blockchain technologies. Before starting Hashed, John was CEO at InVivoLink (sold to HCA). John’s experience includes startup empactHealth.com (sold to GHX).

In this talk, John Bass (Founder & CEO of Hashed Health) will share an update on the use of blockchain and blockchain-inspired technologies in the healthcare & life sciences industry. The presentation will include a discussion of the market’s adoption of the technology, current design patterns, existing and near-term consortia, and how near-term use cases may unfold over time.
