STEM DAY

LSAMP STEM Community will be hosting a national stem day celebration and highlighting research on Nov 18th, 5PM in Iribe 2207. There will be student research presentations, a spotlight on the LSAMP undergraduate research program at UMD, and an alumni panel to discuss the benefits of research in grad school / industry, and their experiences.

At this event, you can be one of the first to find out about the Center for Minorities in Science and Engineering’s new AmazonNext Scholars Program, an exciting opportunity to grow your technical skills and boost your STEM confidence and resume. AmazonNext Scholars is designed to increase the number and diversity of tech talent, and is open to freshmen, sophomores, and recent transfer students in engineering and computer science, and those in letters and sciences interested in technology career pathways. Applications for the program will be open to those who attend the event.
