INFO Anniversary Celebration: 60 Years of Information, Reimagined

Save the date for an unforgettable evening celebrating 60 years of the University of Maryland College of Information! (Registration coming soon.)

This milestone anniversary will be an immersive, hands-on experience—one that invites guests to journey through time in four thematic spaces: Information & Reference Services, Accessibility, Data, and Community Engagement. Each one will explore its theme across four eras: our founding years (1965–1985), a period of rapid change (1985–2005), dramatic growth (2005–2025), and a speculative look toward the future.

Expect interactive installations, tactile artifacts, live demonstrations, and creative provocations that bring INFO’s past, present, and possible futures to life. More details to come. We look forward to celebrating six decades of impact—and what comes next—with you.
