BIO

Sarah Grun, Manager of Special Projects and Initiatives at the University of Maryland (UMD) College of Information Studies (iSchool), works with staff and faculty to provide project management support for special projects throughout the college, including major events such as commencement. Sarah previously worked at the UMD Stamp Student Union- Office of Graduate Student Life, where she managed many projects including Graduate Student Kickoff, Study Break Days, and Graduate Student Appreciation Week. Prior to joining the UMD community, Sarah managed the Faculty in Residence Program at George Washington University as part of the Center for Student Engagement.  In her free time, Sarah is passionate about dachshunds, DIY projects, crafting, costuming, and the Disney-Marvel Cinematic Universe.
