BIO

Dr. Lee joined INFO in August 2025 as a Visiting Senior Lecturer focusing on Data Analysis and Data Science. Initially trained as a marine ecologist, Dr. Lee has been teaching undergraduates full time since 2012, including many years teaching statistics to biologists. She enjoys finding new ways to make learning statistics accessible and enjoyable (!) and looks forward to working with students in the School of Information. Dr. Lee earned her Ph.D. in Marine Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and previously held positions as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Hopkins Marine Station, Stanford University; Assistant Professor of Biology at DePauw University; and Associate Professor of Instruction in Integrative Biology at the University of South Florida.
