BIO

Rohit Mallick is a Post-Doctoral Associate working with Dr. Susannah Paletz as part of the PalLab Research Group. Before joining UMD, Dr. Mallick received his PhD in Human-Centered Computing at Clemson University, under the advisement of Dr. Nathan McNeese. Here, he was recognized as the Outstanding Ph.D. Student in Human-Centered Computing for his excellence in research, mentorship, and service. He brings with him over a decade of research experience spanning academia and government labs— including the U.S. Army Research Laboratory and Purdue University. With these experiences, he has made notable contributions to the fields of human-AI teaming (HAT), human-computer interaction (HCI), human factors, and computer-supported collaborative work (CSCW). Dr. Mallick is currently focused on providing diverse perspectives in the design of AI technologies to promote the trust, well-being, and resilience of their human collaborators.
