BIO

Ramita Shrestha is the Program Manager for the Bachelor of Information Science at the University of Maryland, Shady Grove Campus. In this role, she leads the program’s administrative operations, including student recruitment and admissions, program administration, funding management, data analysis, and reporting. Ramita holds a Master’s degree in Information Management with a focus on strategic and project management, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Science from the University of Maryland. Ramita is comitted to supporting student success and ensuring operational efficiency within the program.

Ramita brings a strong background in program management and a passion for working with students, developed through her experience as a Graduate Ambassador and Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is dedicated to helping students to connect academic knowledge with real-world applications and also serves as an adjunct faculty member.
