Olu Akinola has a Bachelor of Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Prior to joining the UMD College of Information Studies as Facilities Project Manager, he was an architect with UMD’s Department of Facilities Management for a period of 10 years. He is an avid soccer fan whose favorite team is Arsenal FC in England and a music lover. In his spare time he serves on the school board of Christian Academy of Laurel.
