Nancy Roderer has had a career in medical libraries and health informatics, working at Columbia, Yale and Johns Hopkins Universities. She is a fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics and the Medical Library Association. This all began at the University of Maryland, where she received her MLS, following a BS in mathematics and computer science from the University of Dayton. Her abiding interests are in understanding and being responsive to the information needs of users, and in supporting evidence-based decision making.
