BIO
Michael Prakhye serves as a Chief Information Security Officer and Director of Information Security at Adventist HealthCare. He holds Master’s in Cyber Security and Master’s in Business Administration from University of Maryland, as well as an Executive Healthcare Leadership and Change Management certificates from Cornell University. Michael also holds industry certifications including Project Management Professional, C|CISO, ITIL, CISSP, and others. As a healthcare executive and Chief Information Security Officer, Michael is dedicated to ensuring that patient data is secure and confidential. With 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry and the DoD, Michael has a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by healthcare organizations when it comes to data security. In addition to his expertise in information security, he is also well-versed in healthcare compliance, risk management, and privacy. Michael understands the importance of balancing security needs with operational efficiency and is committed to finding solutions that achieve both.
