BIO

Maggie is the Director of Metadata Strategies at the University of Rochester’s River Campus Libraries. Her work at RCL focuses on developing and maintaining effective cross-departmental, interoperable workflows, and metadata-driven services that support the research, teaching, and learning efforts of the University. She earned her MLIS from the University of Washington and a Certificate in Curation and Management of Digital Assets from UMD. In addition to teaching in the MLIS program, she also serves as an instructor in Core’s Fundamentals of Metadata course. Outside of libraries, Maggie is a member of USA Fencing’s Tournament Committee and a member of the National Bout Committee Staff.
