BIO

Dr. Jwan Khisro earned her PhD in informatics at the Department of Applied Information Technology, University of Gothenburg, Sweden in January 2022. She earned her Licentiate degree in informatics at the Department of Information Systems and Technology (IST), Mid Sweden University 2019 following a Masters degree in informatics, University of Gothenburg, 2013. Between 2014-2016, she worked as a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Applied IT, University of Gothenburg.

Jwan’s research focuses on the governance of digital transformation in the public sector. Her earlier research investigates transformation of business collaboration in a digital age from an enterprise interoperability and enterprise architecture perspectives. Jwan’s work has appeared in academic journals such as the Enterprise Information Systems journal and the Transforming Government: People, Process and Policy. She regularly presents her research at top information systems conferences including AMCIS,  Electronic Government (EGOV), and HICSS.
