BIO

Jieun Yeon is an assistant professor at the University of Maryland’s College of Information. Her research centers on public library governance, aiming to facilitate democratic and community-oriented decision-making for public library professionals and community members. She received a bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science and Public Administration from Yonsei University, a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Yonsei University, and a doctoral degree from Syracuse University.
