BIO

Erik Wilkinson started working in higher education as an undergraduate at Florida Gulf Coast University. While there, he worked as a peer advisor and orientation leader, and served as the Vice-President for Brotherhood Development for his fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon. After completing his degree in Political Science, he decided to continue this work as a professional and chose to enroll in the Higher Education program at Florida State University where he earned his Master’s degree. While there he was a graduate assistant in the Office of National Fellowships, and interned with the Offices of Student Conduct, Exploratory Advising, and Greek Life.

Since graduating from FSU, Erik has worked at schools across the country, both 4-year and community colleges. He uses his wide range of experiences to help students navigate the college environment, and make the most of their opportunities while they are in school. His favorite part of being an advisor is helping students define, plan for, and achieve their goals both while in school and after graduation. Originally from southwest Michigan, Erik is a Chicago sports fan (excluding the White Sox), a board game enthusiast, and spends too much time listening to TTRPG podcasts.
