Staff Spotlight: Cecilia “CeCe” Penn-Diallo, Facilities Coordinator

headshot of Cecilia “CeCe” Penn-DialloCeCe joined the iSchool in 2018, filling the much anticipated new role of Facilities Coordinator. CeCe is a native Washingtonian who has been working in the logistics/facilities field for over 15 years supporting federal government agencies such as The Pentagon, State Department, and Federal Trade Commission. Her vast array of experiences at these organizations gave her the opportunity to work with diverse individuals and manage many types of projects. These skills, along with her expertise in space design, have been an enormous asset to the iSchool as we navigated space challenges and multiple moves since CeCe joined us – and will be critical to the iSchool’s success as it continues to tackle these challenges along with revamping its various spaces across campus. While working full-time at the iSchool, CeCe has also been working towards obtaining her Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Maryland Global Campus, and anticipates graduating in May 2020. CeCe also loves to shop, create jewelry, and spend time with her friends and family.
