HCIL Winter Social & Cookie Exchange 2023

Community Events Social Events

Date/Time: Thursday, December 14, 2023 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Location: INFO Commons (HBK 0300)

INFO students, faculty, and staff—join us for annual HCIL Winter Social & Cookie Exchange on December 14.

Description:

Register today to swap holiday treats and enjoy bite-sized research highlights with HCIL! Please bring in 4-6 bags of cookies, each with 5-6 cookies (give or take). In exchange, you can take home bags of cookies that other INFO students, faculty, and staff have brought in. Cookies can be homemade or store bought—we don’t care! (And even if you can’t bring cookies, you’re still welcome to come, hang out, and enjoy copious amounts of sugar.)

This year, we’ll also have a new component that’s both fun and informative. Faculty will share one-minute blurbs about their research projects and/or interests, indicating if they are seeking masters/undergraduate students researchers.

We hope you can join us as we wrap up the fall semester!

Additional Information:

Please contact ischoolevents@umd.edu at least one week prior to the event to request disability accommodations. In all situations, a good faith effort (up until the time of the event) will be made to provide accommodations.
